Nowadays Coronavirus is the dangerous virus all around the world. So many people have died due to this.This is the virus which came from China. Coronavirus is a large family of viruses which can cause illness in humans . The symptoms of this disease is fever,cough and breathing difficulties. People can catch COVID-19 from others who have this virus.
The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in India rose to 2650 on Saturday Morning according to data published by the Health Ministry.This includes 183 cured/discharged and 68 people who succumbed to the disease. In Karnataka the count as of now stands at 128 confirmed cases.
The disease gets transmitted from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth which gets spread, when a person with Covid-19 coughs.
We can take some steps to avoid getting infected.
- We can reduce this spread by taking some simple precautions like regularly washing and cleaning your hands, with an alcohol based hand wash.
- Maintain at least 1 meter distance between yourself and people who are coughing/sneezing.
- Using a handkerchief and tissue while coughing and sneezing.
- Stay home if you feel unwell.
- Avoid touching your nose,mouth and eyes.
- No one should conduct programs and functions where there is chances of crowd.
- Use a mask while going out to buy daily essentials.
However there is no need to panic. Authorities in China have succeeded in flattening the curve with Korea too heading a similar way. We too will but we have to follow the guidelines correctly. In India many hospitals are opened to test people with a travel history. All these measures are taken to secure people from the dangerous Covid-19.

Government and Health authorities are taking vigorous action whenever a new case of the disease is identified. Be sure to comply with local restrictions on travel,movement or large gathering.
