Last year Avakaasha Foundation collaborated with Hosa Belaku Artisan’s Foundation in bringing out 1000 bags for all our schools. These bags made of cotton with a message’ Say No to Plastic’ was gifted to all the students.
Hosa Belaku Trust works with rural women recycling waste to create various products like bags,recycled paper,notebooks,scarfs etc. The women come from agricultural families and are from remote villages like Kadahalli,Achalu and Halasuru. Each of these self-help groups specialize in various activities-block printing,embroidery,stitching,making paper products etc.
