Social media has both positive as well as negative impact on the people. This depends on the people and how they use it.
Advantages of social media:
The biggest advantage of social media is COMMUNICATION. It helps people to get connected with like minded persons around the globe. It makes communication easier and faster when compared to olden days.
Another advantage is people can share their views with the world which in turn makes other people aware of varied views and opens up their mind as well.
It also helps people to showcase their talents and later can help them make a career out of it.
Disadvantages:
Social media creates a greater impact on current generation. People tend to misuse these platforms and get mislead. This also creates stress, and wastage of time among youngsters as well as adults;people usually get addicted to social living.
Now a days people on social media distance themselves from their family, communicate less with their family and invest all their time in social media which is a great disadvantage.
